The Aftercare Treatment
Congratulations! You have taken the leap into the wonderful and liberating world of Microblading. The information provided to you before your treatment explained in detail what would happen before, during and after your procedure. And now this Client Home Care information is provided to you to help you be aware of the steps that are needed to look after your investment.
Post Microblading Treatment Care
First step in the process is: 30 minutes after the microblading treatment rinse the eyebrows with an anti bacterial soap or neutral soap (children’s). Remove all the lymph and previously applied cream by doing so. After that apply a very thin layer of Beauty Balm ( Your Cream.) Repeat this procedure 3 times during the day.
If the treatment was done late in the afternoon and you do not have time to do it 3 times, put a plastic wrap over the eyebrows you previously apply the cream on, so that you protect the eyebrows from drying and wiping overnight. Try Sleeping on your back.
In the next 7 - 10 days, maintain facial hygiene ( but do not wet your brows) and apply the cream after washing your face (around your brows) or having a shower. Beauty Balm can be used on all skin types, due to its natural active components that regulate oiling.
What is to be avoided during the microblading healing process:
During the first 7 days all the creams (except for the protective one), all make-up (foundation) in the eyebrow area. Avoid workouts that involve a lot of sweating, sauna, facial massage and steaming – inhalation. Do NOT use vaseline for aftercare.
Microblading In the next 30 days:
Sunbathing, solarium, light therapies, chemical peelings, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, creams that contain regeneration factors.
Always avoid laser treatments over the treated area during microblading healing process (Fraxel laser, IPL), because they can destroy the pigment and cause burns.
Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to a faster pigment fading. Also cigarette smoking can cause pigment to fade. Always protect the eyebrows from the sun with SPFs (not during the first 7 days).
Enjoy your new microblading and the joy of waking up made-up!
